Going Directly to God

We’re trying to connect with the soul’s expression at this age, and the soul’s expression at this age wanted to feel nurtured and loved. You can take that child and give him the nurturance and the love that he wanted, through the Divine Presence of your Deity Yoga visualization.

This to me is a radical new direction in this type of practice. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of such a thingusing a Deity to help you with the selves of your pastbut it’s still a very beautiful thing. I mean, I sure could’ve used Shiva when I was five years old, I’ll tell you.

Essentially, the source of the image that I’m creating is Divine Radiance. It could be called the Clear Light. It is the source of all things, of all possibilities. It is God. In particular, we talked about the fact that it actually isn’t clear or white, but more like silver. It has a more reflective quality than either clear or white light, and it’s sizzling with potential creativity.

When we use the term God, we’re saying that the source of my visualization is this quality of all-giving. Even though I have said that I arise as the Divine Shivathe manifestation of Divine Change that is only an aspect, or a form, of the radiance.

The manifestation of Divine Radiance is an aspect of God. I’m not saying Shiva is everything; I’m saying Shiva is a form of the Divine Change. So the source of my visualization is the Divine Change, and I go to my child with that visualization.

So when you touch the child, when you put your arms around your child, when you speak to your child, the Divine Source is what’s radiating from you. Basically, you’re choosing one that is an aspect that works for you. You’re going direct: you’re going to God. You’re reaching out to the godhead and you’re saying, “I’m in form, and so I’m going to experience the godhead in form, as a quality of expression.” For Shiva, that quality of expression is Divine Radiance.

How I Oversaw My Monthly Budget

Filed under: Finance Online, World Of Self Improvement — admin @ 12:23 am

Between regular monthly bills and unexpected expenses, it seemed I was constantly off on my budget. My paycheck was already spent as soon as I got it. I get stacks of bills every month and put them off to the last minute, then dealt with them all in a rush. As a solution I ended up taking up money from the next paycheck just to make it through. The problem was not related to how much money I made, it’s that I didn’t know how to manage my budget. In the case of any emergency, left me even deeper in debt.

I am sure most of us have been in this position. We try to moderate our spending and be careful with our money, but long before month-end, the money is spent. Paying Off bills is a juggling act that most of us don’t have the time or energy to handle. There’s always one bill that was overlooked or delayed, one more expenditure we weren’t organized for. With school supplies and fees for the kids, groceries, new tires for the car, and the raising cost of petrol, just making it from paycheck to paycheck is difficult enough; saving money is out of the question. Meantime, debt is softly building up. I asked myself how I can get my budget under control?

I was lucky to have found a service which will help me manage my money more sagely and take away the strain of paying monthly bills, allowing me to concentrate on the things that really matter to my family. I can finally relax not worrying about money, knowing that my monthly budget are in good hands.

The financial planning process:
During your first consultation, your budget consultant will evaluate all of your present debts and monthly payments and devise a plan that works for you. They will oversee your money, setting aside money for savings, emergencies, and long term investment, ensuring your family’s financial security. If you are planning a major purchase, this will be factored into your budget so that when you are ready to buy, the money will be there for you.

Your paychecks are generally deposited to your financial planner, and a seperate living expenses account is setup for you. Bills and repayments are diverted to your budgeting consultant for payment. Some budget services will even negotiate with your creditors to lower your monthly payments and reduce your outstanding debt. A low monthly fee is assessed for all these services.

For me, the best monthly service my budget consultant provides is peace of mind. I don’t have to worry about paying any bills; I know my bills will be paid on time, and that I’ll have money in reserve for life’s little emergencies. My budget is finally under control, thanks to my financial planning service.

How to Develop Your Demonstrations for Your Job Interviews

KISS: Keep it short and simple

A few principal concepts that are well explained will come across more intelligibly than a lot of text designed to impress the audience. Your interviewers do not have the time to analyse the information as you deliver it.

The rule of 3

Nearly all individuals cannot call up more than 3 things at one time. Many memorable quotes come in 3 parts: Veni, Vedi, Vici, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Education, Education, Education,
Ready, Steady, Go, etc.

If workable, organize your presentation in 3 bigprincipalcentralfundamental themes (one per slide). On each slide, tryseekendeavorendeavourattempt to focuscentercentre on three3 keycentralprincipalimportantessentialfundamentalbigprimarymain ideas. If you have too many pointsaimsitemsdetails on one page, you may want to breakchunk them down in two2 different more focussedcentredconcentratedcenteredfocused themestopicsideasstemsstreamsconcepts to break upseparatesplit upfragmentbreak downsplit up the messagecontentsubject mattersubstance ininto more digestible chunks

Rule of three3 applied to a presentation on the critical appraisal of your career so far:

THEME 1 - Presentation of Experience
Career progression & Exams taken;
Important skills and expertise acquired;
Involvement in academic activities.

THEME 2 - Demonstration of commitment to speciality and self development
Cours es and conferences attended;
Special interests developed;
Initiative taken in developing services and improving standards.

THEME 3 - Areas where further development is needed
Great emphasis on teaching; want to enhance research portfolio;
Keen to enhance further teaching experience (Med Ed. Degree);
Solid experience of endoscopy; further training required for possible
subspecialisation.

Visual aids

In mostwell-nigh allnearly allvirtually allalmost all interviews, the nature of the visual aids will be imposed. This could include:

No visual aids at all
A4 white paper sheets
Acetates
Electronic (e.g. on USB chip or CD Rom)

Identify the requirements before you start as it may dictate the manner in which you organise your ideas.

EnsureDetermineAscertainCheckVerifySuss Out too that you have sufficientadequatedecentenough back-up. For example:

if they asked for paper presentation slides, bring a copy for eacheveryevery last interviewerinterview panel member (they might say that they will photocopy them for you but the machine might break downfailcrumplesnuff itconkkick the bucket that day!) if they ask for a USB chip, bring two chips (and possibly even a CD version) whatever they ask, always bring a few paper versions in casejust in case everything has gone wrongbaddefectivefaulty, or in casejust in case they deliberatelyintentionallypurposelyby designby choiceon purposedesignedly make your life difficult.

Controlling Your Destiny Through Self-Employment

Nobody predicted the recession, but it’s here, and we’re well mired in an economic slowdown. You may even be recently unemployed. You can turn off the TV, but you can’t get away from the reality that the United Kingdom is in a recession and it’s not going away anytime soon.

Even so, there are always means to help yourself out of this recession. The traditional means of looking for a job are not so good when you have 130 other individuals trying for the same position. Reading the local paper, going to the local unemployment bureau, etc - you’re just part of the masses looking for work in this conventional way.

You should look for work in ways your rivals are few and far between. Nowadays a lot of companies publish job vacancies on their company website, so use Google and type in key words to identify local companies. Use a variety of keywords between locale only e.g. jobs in Tamworth, Staffs, UK, and profession and locale e.g. help desk jobs Tamworth.

One more alternative is to work for yourself - to be self-employed. What we’ve learnt over the last year is that big companies can go broke overnight. Self-employment means you control your own destiny, which is something no staff worker of a company can ever say they have. The main thing is you choose the kind of career you love since you will need to be motivated.

Learn How to Lose Man Breasts

Filed under: Exercise, Health Issues, World Of Self Improvement — admin @ 5:00 am

If you are reading this article, you most likely have man breasts. You can also visit the site http://www.manboobsguide.com/how-to-get-rid-of-man-boobs/gynecomastia-drugs/how-to-lose-man-breasts/ to learn how to lose man breasts. I know what you feel, because I have had the condition too. Upwards of 40% of men suffer from gynecomastia, medical academics claim. Men with gynecomastia experience anxiety and usually withdraw from social events. Surgery, exercise, diet and taking natural supplements are many ways that can be used to eradicate man breasts. I am about to demonstrate to you the way reduction of man breasts can be obtained using a dietary substance in this article.

Ever tried dieting before? Diets are complicated and hard to stick to. I have managed to try several diets over the last several years. Fortunately, some of them do work. Trim Spa, Weight Watchers,South Beach diet and Jenny Craig are some of the popular available diets. These diets are successful, but it takes some determination. We have established that we are not a big fan of diets. But, here is the thing. I’m not telling you to go on a diet. I am about to reveal a sneaky little substance that you can add to your diet.

So, I did promise you earlier that I would tell you something that you can add to your diet. Is curry a spice that you have ever heard of? If you are unfamiliar with it, it is a spice with a light green color. If you are a fan of food from the Asian continent, you have probably tried curry. A very popular dish is curry chicken. Turmeric is the main component contained in curry, and it has been used to treat obesity for hundreds of years. Gynecomastia can also be successfully treated using turmeric. I have now told you how to achieve gynecomastia reduction using diet. Don’t wait any longer, take my advice and go apply it. This solution won’t cost you very much money. Another good alternative to using turmeric is to take natural supplements specially formulated for gynecomastia. For an effective natural supplement, visit the website linked in this article.

Talking in Stories

Filed under: Exercise, Help, World Of Self Improvement — admin @ 10:59 pm

If you all of the time talk in numbers and facts you could be perceived as a boring person and not really get through to people the way that you want. One of the best ways to get through to someone is to tell a story. People just love stories, it must stem back to the bed time stories when we were kids where either our mother or father would talk about some out of this world experience, it was so entertaining. It works great when the person that you are talking too can relate to the story that you are telling. If someone is really into health and being in great physical shape and you want to somehow get across to them the importance of being on time, then you could use a story. You could tell a story of how when you were working out in college that you and your friend were fanatics about being in great shape, you both supported each other and helped each other out as much as possible, but there was one thing that held the both of you back from truly making the best gains possible, because your friend was at least fifteen minutes late to every workout. You could talk about how you missed out on that time and how that extra time could have done a lot to make the two of you looked more ripped and healthier overall. This would make sense to him and getting your point across could sink in. This is a great approach to get through to people and let them understand you better.

Life Isn’t About Finding Yourself, It’s About Creating Yourself

Filed under: World Of Self Improvement — admin @ 11:25 am

BE brilliant at the basics. Be the change you want to see in the world. Be the first one. Be the only one. Be unforgettable. Be interesting. Be a sleeper. Be that guy. Be the world’s expert on yourself. Be better than yesterday, but not as good as tomorrow. Be confident enough to be humble. But be somebody who reminds everybody of nobody else in the world.

AND DON’T wish it was easier, wish you were better. Don’t sell, enable people to buy. Don’t let the bastards get you down. Don’t be weary in well doing, for in due season you will reap a great harvest if you faint not. And don’t wait for the mainstream to validate your voice. Don’t despise the day of small beginnings. Don’t be selfish with your knowledge. Don’t complain if you haven’t earned the right. And don’t be different, be unique.

BECAUSE YOU are what you charge. You are what you believe. You are the books you’ve read and the people you’ve met. And you are an empty sheet of paper in the minds of every person you encounter.

AFTER ALL, the world cannot resist a man on a mission. The best swimmers are always in the pool. The sculpture is inside the stone. And the two greatest days in your life are the day you’re born, and the day you realize why you were born.

AND if you are successful you will always have too much to do and too little time. If you aren’t being criticized, you aren’t doing much. And if everyone says you’re out of your mind, you just might be onto something.

EVEN THOUGH, IT’S not easy being yourself. It’s not who you know, it’s who knows you. And it’s not the years, it’s the mileage.

SO, WORK hard, work long and work smart. Work like you don’t need the money. And work from technique, because you never know how you will feel.

AND DON’T FORGET THAT success leaves clues. That confidence is king. That credibility comes from specificity. That listening is not waiting to talk. And that a nice person who is mean to a waiter is not a nice person.

OR, TO tell the truth, to tell it all and to tell it now. To give value first. To paint yourself into a good corner. To allow customers to participate in your brand. To do the work once and benefit many times. To give yourself away. To respect people’s no’s. To take massive action. And to act as if you already were the person you’re trying to become.

THEREFORE, ALWAYS stand up, stand out or be counted out. Discover your Personal Differential Advantage. Learn to love your zone of discomfort. Greet each day with love in your heart. Show, don’t tell. Make daily appointments with yourself. Never apologize for your art. Remember your Victory Dance. Work harder on yourself than your job. Find your one big idea. And always validate your existence, be yourself and do something cool - every single day.

BECAUSE life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself.

A Special Q & A - All About Passionately Soaring in Life

Filed under: World Of Self Improvement — admin @ 8:38 pm

1. How do I discover my passion?

This is one of my favorite reasons for giving Divinely channeled private consultations. Most people do NOT know their passion, or their life purpose.

So I am going to ask you a few questions so YOU can uncover your own truth!

What comes as naturally to you as breathing? (As Oprah once said.) What would you do for FREE for the rest of your life if you had twelve million dollars in the bank? - And this is AFTER you have already bought everything you have ever wanted to own, traveled to all parts of the world (unless that IS your passion and life purpose.) What would make you say: “Thank God it’s Monday!” What are your natural talents and abilities? Are you a great speaker? Perhaps you would do well teaching, or motivating or inspiring, or mentoring.

Do you LOVE baking? Mrs. Fields and Wally (Famous) Amos did!

Do you adore people? Plants? Animals? Nature? Math? Inventing? Music?

In other words, YOU have to dig real deep inside of you to discover what you are so naturally great at, and what you always loved. You have to really picture in your mind what you would do all day and night, because you love it THAT much! For example, I’m writing this for YOU on a Saturday night! Because I really love sharing, making a difference, and inspiring THAT MUCH!

Another GREAT INDICATOR as to your passion are your role models. People you really admire, and when you’ve watched them, and saw what they were doing, something inside of you said: I could EASILY do that! I would LOVE to do that too! My role models were Barbara Walters, Oprah Winfrey, Diane Sawyer, Christianne Amanpour, Meg Ryan, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Princess Grace, and Princess Diana.

Now I’m not a princess, however there certain qualities and attributes within each person that I mentioned above that are mirrors of different qualities and attributes, as well as life experiences I have lived with ALL of the above.

When you admire someone, they are mirroring YOUR qualities too! I could never be any of the above people. I can only be me! And all of the above people could never be one or the other of the above people. I can only share my own process with you, so that it can trigger you to search and discover your own truth.

During my life I have been a feature film and TV actress. I was a journalist, and interviewed refugees in Israel as well as worked on the year 2000 elections behind the scenes with CNN. I am really “for the people” and each stage of my life carried fabulous experiences that I would never take back. I loved them all! Now, I prefer to be more of a private person, and occasionally I love to be in public to give speaking events. I love it all. There is no reason why you cannot do everything you love. One process will naturally lead to the next. For me, acting led to journalism after I had undergone severe injustice and wanted to really make a difference for the voiceless masses. Then, when I saw what broadcast journalism was really all about, I had already written my first book Individual Power and then left journalism to be an author, public speaker, and publisher. (You can’t really give your own opinion when you are reporting the nightly news, you have to tell both sides of the story, period. - Not for me! I had too much of an opinion - so I valued that! An author can write and express away, and STILL make a difference for the masses.

So what YOU have to do to move from a dead-end life into a life filled with PASSION is to really get into your heart, and NOT seek to validate yourself from the outside in! THAT is a very important lesson! I STILL love acting beyond measure, however when I WAS an actress, at the time I was “Oscar driven.” I believed that if I won an Oscar, I would “THEN” be “somebody.”

I had a LOT of self-validation to learn from the inside out. So never, ever, ever go after something because you think it will make you rich, or famous, or anything from the outside. ALWAYS BE who you really are, and validate yourself from the INSIDE OUT - NOT THE OUTSIDE IN!!!

Write down your role models. Write down your NATURAL talents, strengths and abilities. Then go into your heart and ask yourself what that life would look like if you brought it all out from deep within you. It CAN be multi-faceted, and it can also be a single focus - like a pediatrician. However, I know an attorney that just recorded his first fantastic musical CD - my brother!

If money was NO object - what would you REALLY LOVE to do? THAT is your passion. Always honor it!

2. How do I move from where I am now to where I want to be?

One tiny step at a time. Just MOVE in that direction IN YOUR ACTIONS. Also, combine the most powerful visualization and manifesting abilities every spiritual/human being does have, and picture yourself as if you had ALREADY become what you are working toward. Really see yourself as you are - as if you were looking at yourself in hindsight.

If you really wanted to walk from New York to Los Angeles, you COULD. One step at a time. Do SOMETHING EACH DAY in the area that you love. Even if you just set aside one hour, or half and hour. Sometimes I work all night, until dawn! But to me it’s JOY, Bliss, and I love every second of it and would not trade my life for any other. When you are THAT passionate about what you love, you will feel MORE energy than you ever have, and you will also begin to look younger too! There is a certain glow about a person that is radiating their true passion that nothing on the outside can ever bring out. It all comes from within!

Hours, days and weeks all add up - more than most people realize. It is NEVER about the goal - it is the PROCESS of it all that is so rewarding. Please remember that!!

3. What do I do if it all doesn’t work out?

It is your CHOICE to do only what you love, and to be true to only ONE person - you!

What if it all DOES work out? What if you love it all so much that it is not about it all working out, but about the JOY you feel each day just for the LOVE OF DOING IT? That is what matters - that is ALL that matters in life. It’s NOT about an outcome, it IS about how you FEEL inside while you are doing what you really love!

Did you ever make love to someone and have incredible passion? Weren’t you so IN the moment that you loved it so much? Did you worry about “what if it all doesn’t work out” while you were passionately involved with something that was incredibly phenomenal? It’s the same thing with your life purpose. Being IN the moment is so rewarding that your head doesn’t run off into the past or the future. It is all in the NOW moment. That is all you ever really have you know. All we all ever have is NOW. Become too in love with the process, and you will never again worry about the outcome. ENJOY this life by living your passion!

4. How do I handle negative comments from relatives or friends?

Say: “Thank you for your perspective.” Period! Then continue with all that you love. You do NOT OWE anyone an explanation regarding your life purpose. Are THEY asking you about theirs? No? I didn’t think so!

Do you know the story about Henry Ford (Ford Motor Company) and his father? Henry worked for a company and made a great salary. He wanted to quit his job to follow his “dream” and begin his own motor company. His father called him stupid, and a “dreamer” and yelled at him for even considering giving up such a high paying job to “pursue a crazy dream.” Thank God Henry Ford didn’t listen to his father! He invented the first CAR!

People will always have an opinion. And do you know what? They are entitled to their own opinions! That doesn’t mean that you have to mold your life according to their opinion! It is just an opinion, however your truth is what you have to live with. Only YOU can live YOUR life. Don’t EVER allow someone else to steer you away from your truth, ever!

5. How do I really start it all?

The exact same way everyone else really starts it all - from right where you are NOW! Just begin! Begin and never look back. Keep going - follow your TRUTH! You will always be guided one step at a time. That’s all it takes - for everyone - including me.

6. What do I do if I don’t have the funds to do what I really want?

There is always a Higher reason for NOT having funds, just as much as there is FOR having funds. Money can NEVER dictate what you want to do. If you want to go back to school, there is such a thing as student loans. If you want to publish books, set aside even three dollars a day to pay for them to be edited and printed. There are investors, there are people that you can team up with! ASK the Universe to bring you the exact situations and people so that it is ALL ALREADY DONE! View it as complete - and NEVER limit the Universe as to “HOW” it is all going to happen. Just set the intention, ask for Divine guidance and assistance, and then REALLY have an attitude of gratitude and EXPECTATION - because it WILL become your reality - only as firmly as you believe it to be so!

7. You seem so confident and sure of your purpose Barbara. How can I become that way too?

I’ll share with you HOW I became so confident. I NEVER allowed anyone to steer me away from my truth! Each day I do what I love, and I am very happy! Money does NOT buy happiness - it brings more ease in life, and it is fantastic to have grand abundance so that you can do all you really want to do. However, during the beginning stages, most people do NOT have grand abundance, and they STILL keep on with their purpose.

Each day I follow my truth. Each day I move and work from the inside out. So naturally my confidence level has greatly increased compared to when I first began. In the beginning I was PETRIFIED to leave an approved internship with CNN, and actually publicly expose that I received “information from God in my writings.” I was paralyzed with fear that people would have men in white jackets to come and put me in a padded cell! I was SO much more secure (for my ego) to become a broadcast journalist with CNN. That was respected status in both my eyes, and in the eyes of society. However, after 7 months of inner torture, I FINALLY gave in to my truth, and NEVER looked back.

Everyone is scared in the beginning! That is just a great sign that you are moving out of the old comfort zone of your ego - that loves to cling on to the past - and you are moving in the direction of your heart and soul - which will NEVER let you down!

Just follow your truth, each day, each moment, and then you will be living the life you were born to live - with passion!

Escaping the Cow Pasture of Mediocrity

Filed under: World Of Self Improvement — admin @ 4:55 pm

L.E.A.R.N.

(Listen, Elicit (be drawn forth, what is latent or potential), Ask, Repeat and Nurture)

Do you currently live in the town where you grew up or spent most of your
formative years? Do you “go home for vacation or visits to family members” in the
city or town of your upbringing? Have you moved to another nearby city or another
part of town?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, I ask you: How does it make you feel
to either be there or go there? What do you most remember about that place?
What about the way the neighborhood sounded? Or the way that popular restaurant
in town smelled? Do you remember the way the grass felt as you played tag or hide
and seek? What about the taste of bologna sandwiches? Remember?

If you can recall any of that, congratulations you are human and had a childhood. If
not, then welcome to Earth and I hope your stay here is a wonderful one. I began by
asking those questions, to get us to remember some of the things from our youth.

While growing up I’m sure you have had your share of “older people” (parents,
teachers, neighbors, etc.) telling you what to do and what not to do. And as you got
older you learned that some of what you were told actually could have saved you
some bumps and bruises. However many people spend a great deal of time talking
instead of listening.

Listening is rarely taught in school and while most of our parents or guardians
demanded that we listen to them, no one ever taught us how to listen. I mean sure
we were taught how to eat with utensils, how to tie our shoes or how to say ‘please’
and ‘thank you’. But never taught how to do what most people insisted that we
should do: LISTEN.

Many opportunities have passed us by in life that could have accelerated our
personal development, financial strength and relationship ties by simply knowing
how to listen. Not so much listening to other people, but listening to ourselves. I’m
talking about that inner voice (IV) that speaks to us when we are presented with an
empowering opportunity or path and that inner conversation umpire (ICU) that we
hear when a decision has to be made.

So the first principle in order to properly L.E.A.R.N. is to develop proper listening
skills.

(Listen)

You do know that 1+1=9 and because you know that you should be saying to
yourself (internally) this guy must be crazy because 1+1=2. What happened when
you read that 1+1=9? What happened not only physically but also more importantly
psychologically? You should have experienced a bit of dissonance at my making
such a mathematical mistake. Internally a voice (feeling) should have spoken to you
and informed you of the error in my equation. Did you listen to that voice? Of
course you did and by doing so you immediately corrected the error and internally
restated the correct answer, which is 2. Take time everyday to pay special attention
to that inner dialog that is happening. Now do not mistake disempowered self-talk
or ego driven delusions for that true voice within that is there to assist you in your
growth and development. Meditation, chanting, enlightened music or just silence
will assist you in gaining a better ear for your “inner conversation umpire”. Begin
learning to trust that “gut feeling” or that “something inside that is trying to tell you
…” and know that this inner voice will not guide you wrong. Spend a few minutes
each day quieting your mind. No thoughts of what you have done, will do or plan to
do, just a few minutes of quiet time focused internally without judgment or analysis.

1. So remember the first principle is to Listen.

(Elicit)

The next principle after learning to listen is to elicit. Did you know that there is an
unlimited supply of brilliance inside of you and that you are pure potentiality?
There is no end to the amount of enlightened ideas that can come from each and
every person.

By learning to listen you will be forming the necessary foundation to elicit or extract
those enlightened ideas from within yourself. This is true education (to extract what
is within). I know you have had one of those brilliant moments where you knew the
world needed a particular product or service and wished that “someone would make
a…” and one month or a few years later you saw the very item that you wished
would be made on an infomercial.

You are a walking, breathing, thinking, gold mine (mind) and somewhere along the
line you have allowed your mine (mind) to be shut down or you allowed someone
else to gather and extract the precious jewels that are within you by going to work
everyday and giving away your talents and jewels for meager earnings or less than
full value. You now have been given permission to extract the jewels from your own
mind (mine) and for your own use toward the betterment of society. Take back your
mine (mind)! Not only is it a terrible thing to waste, but an even worse thing to give
away.

2. The second principle is to Elicit.

(Ask)

Our third principle is to ask. Ask what? Ask who? You might ask! J You must first
begin by asking yourself questions. Now I know some of you might find it a bit odd
to ask yourself a question, however it is something that you do quite often.
Sometimes you might call it figuring things out, pondering, thinking or wondering.
But no matter what you call it you are ultimately asking yourself a series of
questions to arrive at a decision. What we want to do is to go deeper and ask large
chunk questions. What do I mean by “large chunk”? It’s those questions that will
gather the largest amount of information from the asking of one question. Here is
an example:

-Small chunk question.
Q. Do you like this ezinearticle?

-Large CHUNK question.
Q. How do you feel about this ezinearticle?

As you can see from the large chunk question, we would gather much more
information as a result of asking it, instead of the former question. During the
process of escaping the cow pasture of mediocrity the questions you ask yourself
and others can determine the speed at which you grow and develop. The object is
to become what my good friend Jerry ‘DRhino’ Clark calls a “Charging Rhino”,
charging in the jungle of life toward the land of paradise. And you can learn more
about becoming a “Charging Rhino” by visiting www.clubrhino.com and becoming a
member of one of the most elite groups of people anywhere on the World Wide Web.

Now ask yourself the following question. What do I need to believe in order to
become financially secure? Go ahead, ask again and listen very closely as the inner
voice (IV) connects and begins to drill deep into your mind (mine). Now begin to
extract the answer from the depths of your being. I know it’s a bit difficult now,
however as you learn to maneuver though your mind the process will become easier
and automatic. Ask the question again and do so a few more times during the day
and allow the answer to come from within you. You will gain a deeper
understanding of this principle by simply “Educating Your Expectations” with
Artemis Limpert, who is a master coach and motivator.

Now I want you to ask yourself: What do I need to do to become financially secure?
And lastly ask yourself: When do I need to do it? And I will allow you to use a cheat
sheet on that last question by giving you the answer: The answer is NOW!

3. Remember the third principle is to Ask.

(Repeat)

I said the answer is NOW! This fourth principle is not as simplistic as one might first
think. Not only should you return to the first principle and go through the process
again but you should also repeat back to yourself mentally and audibly the answers
you get to the large chunk questions you have asked. This will demonstrate your
understanding of what you have heard and extracted and will also assist in “coding”
the answers into your subconscious.

Repeat! Now I want you to identify someone that you really admire and whose life
was or is a great blessing and benefit to society. If you have trouble finding
someone I suggest you check out the “Standing on the Shoulder of Giants” audio
series, which is literally bursting at the seams with interviews of very admirable
people. No matter what area of life this person impacted or whether anyone else
might find them “great” or not isn’t the point, I want you to identify someone that
you admire and whose certain way you would like to incorporate into your life. Next
I want you to find out as much about this person as you can. Such as where they
were born, childhood events, hardships, trials, triumphs etc. And I want you to
attempt to identify an event or series of events that you feel might have contributed
to this person adopting that certain way about them that you most admire.

Once you have done this you should then go through your life and find any
circumstances you can where you could have adopted a similar “certain way” as a
result of the circumstance in your life. Repeat this process for each and every
positive trait that you find in others that you wish to hold. Repeat the successful
actions of successful people and you will become successful.

4. So remember the fourth principle is to Repeat.

(Nurture)

Our fifth and final principle of “Escaping the Cow Pasture of Mediocrity” is to
nurture. Feed on positive and uplifting mental food. Read my ezinearticles like
“From Goal-Setting to Giving” or listen to audio programs such as “Meet The Goal”.
Take excellent care of your mind. It is not enough to be physically health conscious
and still neglect the mind.

Show love and gratitude for the new and empowering ideas and ideals that are
presented to you as well as those that come from within. Have total compassion for
yourself as well as others. Nourish your mind, body and soul at every opportunity
with positive and empowering books, tapes, and conversations. Practice self-
perfection at every moment. Develop the discipline necessary to live a peaceful,
productive and inspired life while sharing all that you have with the rest of society.
You have been given permission to be everything you desire; and to think all you
had to do was L.E.A.R.N.

5. And the fifth principle is to Nurture.

L.E.A.R.N.

1. Listen

2. Elicit

3. Ask

4. Repeat

5. Nurture

Choose Yes

Filed under: World Of Self Improvement — admin @ 5:32 pm

Choose more “YES” in your life! When you participate in
something that you love, you experience a natural excitement, a
“passionate eagerness.” This enthusiasm takes on a life of its
own, if allowed to flourish, and seeks more “YES” experience.
So, whether you love to garden, write fiction, travel, or have
breakfast in bed, the actual doing is so rewarding that it
changes you. Its positive reinforcement causes you to be on the
lookout for other things you love doing in a very healthy,
seemingly subconscious way.

In fact, the word “enthusiasm” comes from a Greek root meaning
“God within.” Enthusiasm can be sensed as feedback from our
internal, Divine guidance system: “YES! Go here!”

A balanced and healthy life, for most people, requires generous
helpings of experiences along this emotional spectrum: liking,
enjoying, pleasure, fun, loving, bliss, joy, passion and
exhilaration. I have worked with clients whose effectiveness in
their work and overall satisfaction in their lives increased
dramatically when they began to take better care of themselves
in this arena.

But many of us have been trained in a different direction. Our
work-oriented culture tells us that we should be accomplishing
more, not enjoying more. Many of us put our own needs and
desires last on our lists, and guess what? We never get to them.
If you’re able to see this pattern in yourself, then you can
change it.

Some of us have not been encouraged to trust our enthusiasm.
Marianne Williamson, in her visionary book, A Woman’s
Worth
, points out that as girls, many of us were taught that
our passions, our bliss, and our lusts were suspect, and that
our natural exuberance was met with disapproval. She writes:

“The lost girl is still within us - the girl who wasn’t allowed
to blossom, the girl whose natural childhood instincts were
unnaturally capped at puberty. . . . We were treated with
suspicious looks at the very moments someone should have been
turning up the applause. . . . Our most natural impulses were
thwarted and distorted. We were like lava channeled into plastic
molds.”

The antidote? Step toward that YES in your life, find things you
love doing and just do them! If you already have a life filled
with that, Go You! - and take it to the next level. If you do
not know where to start, here are some ideas:

-Something physical - dance, tennis, exercise, massage

-Something creative - give a party, write an article,
decorate a room, paint in watercolors

-Something visual - make art, assemble an outfit, take
photographs, draw, plan a garden

-Something tactile - knitting, clay, sailing, needlework

-Something kinesthetic - singing, weaving, gardening,
drumming, sports

-Something auditory - music, poetry, theater, being out
in the sounds of nature

-Something spiritual - meditate, pray, sing, be with a
pet, sit by a lake.

As you do more what you truly love, a joie de vivre comes into
being that is truly a thing of beauty.
