Why Water Cooler when Working out
You may love cold H2O, but in all probability your mother has told you that warm H2O is advisable. Isn’t correct? How about drinking warm H2O during and after your run on treadmill?Some people recommend cold water when one is strenuously exercising due to following reasons:• During heavy physical activity, body temperature rises above the normal 37C. Drinking cold water takes down the body’s temperature to its natural range. Perspiring from running, kicking and jumping also helps lower the body’s temperature. In fact, reports show that cool water is soaked up more speedily from the stomach than warm water. It gives an instant effect of cooling down the body. This makes dehydration less likely, permitting us to work harder and enjoy the sport even more. Source• Second, opposed to what most think, cold foods and beverages do not hurt any of our internal organs, so we can feel free to enjoy them.Another school of thinking, including my mum, believes that cold water will give a “jolt” to our bodies, especially during workout. They think that warm water should be the pick. For me, the water should not be so hot that it burns your oral cavity, or so cool that it is uncomfortable.Personally, I favor room temperature or more or less cool H2O when I work out in gymnasium. The favorite H2O temperature is shaped by cultural and taught behaviors. If coldness assists you to drink large measures of fluid while you are exercising, then keep it cold.By the way, our bodies do not use calories when absorbing cold H2O. In other words, drinking cold water will not make our body to lose weight.
